My best friend had been wanting to see Dragonforce since we were in high school in the late 70's. It was something on her bucket list. I was ready not to enjoy it. I knew the music but was not a huge fan. We paid $150 for 2 tickets. I was surprised at the setup when we entered the showroom. From the moment they hit the stage, I was on my feet. I wasn't yelling like her, but I was up and dancing. Everyone around us was singing along, rocking out. The place was alive. The people there were more our age, and I grew up with their music, whether it was my favorite or not. We let loose, didn't have to act our age. It was amusing that after the show, my friend went up front and Pat Simmons shook her hand. She, the mother of 3, teared up when he shook her hand. I gave my best friend an unforgettable night, and I left as a fan. I LOVE the new song Far from Home; it was amazing. Their performance showed they knew how to deliver a great show to their fans. We all danced and enjoyed ourselves.
